The Hands booth at India Design ID 2024 was an art installation unto itself, where Hands presented its new ANTONYM collection and its brand ethos of design and craftsmanship in an enchanting and fascinating way. The event also marked the global launch of the collection.

With Kisa Harrison, CEO and wife of the late British furniture design master Christopher Guy Harrison, and Apurva Patodia, Managing Director of the Patodia enterprise, owner of the Hands label.

ART IS LUXURY. Pictures from a very special evening - the opening of the marquee Hands store in Mumbai and the launch of the Larry Roberts Collection. The evening brought together renowned architects, designers and the city's finest, in a celebration of art, design and craftsmanship. With our special guest Laurie Roberts, wife of the late Larry Roberts, the prolific abstract expressionist artist, and Mr Ravi PATODIA, founder of Hands. The 4,000 sq ft store is located at Paragon Centre, Worli and is now home to the world's finest handmade carpets, with exclusive bespoke design services.

Hands wows visitors at India Design ID 2023

A gist of the immersive and much spoken-about Hands booth at India Design ID, an invitation to follow the light. The words that welcomed visitors at the entrance were also a hint of the experience that was to follow. Deep and dark with blackened-out walls, the main display area was designed like a maze, with carpets strategically mounted and focus-lit to guide the walkthrough.

Hands at Downtown Design Dubai 2022: a celebration of the unordinary

Two days prior to the opening of the Middle East’s most influential design fair, the air was already abuzz with news that had broken in the UAE’s leading English daily. The National prominently featured Hands’ recent project – the World’s Largest Handmade Carpet. A prototype and the making story of which would greet all visitors to the Hands booth, setting the tone for all things unordinary at C21, Dubai Design District.

This installation art graced a wall of the Hands booth at Downtown Design. Here, threads of varied colours find their way off their spindle and into the carpet. Starting out as sole entities who eventually merge into the greater whole.

Hands at India Design 2022, India’s Best Luxury Design Week

At this year’s ID, which took place from 12th -15th May 2022 in Delhi, Hands presented 4 exclusive new collections namely Forma II, EmpireX, Urbane II and L’Ornement.

From art, architecture and the unusual to the extra-terrestrial, visitors got a chance to see, touch, and feel exquisitely hand knotted and hand tufted carpets that delve deep into the realms of space, time, and form. Through four new collections; two of which are exclusive previews.
